Arielle and Crystal Dubois are twin sisters based in Geneva (Switzerland). They co-founded Arie Art Agency association in 2019 to offer the most effective way to connect contemporary artists with a wider audience, a project they aimed to develop since a very young age.

Arielle and Crystal both have a background in Swiss Law with a Bachelor of Law, magna cum laude (University of Lausanne, 2015), a Master in Economic Law, summa cum laude (University of Geneva, 2020) and a Lawyer Specialisation Certificate (ECAV, Geneva, 2020). They also have a background in history of art and in business management. Arielle studied History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. Crystal undertook an MPhil in Management at the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge.

Arielle and Crystal both work in law firms in Geneva. Aside from the law, the sisters have built experience in the tech and the art market sectors in London, Berlin, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Arielle worked in London in a contemporary African art gallery, in auctions houses such as Christie’s, Sotheby’s and Philips. She spent some time in Berlin to discover emerging artists and later worked at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg writing publications on their art collection and working alongside their artists’ residency programme. Today, she specializes in the tax aspects relating to art collections, and the curation and collections of digital art. She publishes on the topic and often participates in conferences.

Crystal worked in the tech and media industries in London for two years. She then specialised in data protection, and worked as a data protection specialist for a pharmaceutical group and in the academic field at a Swiss university. Interested in media, education and in sharing ideas, she started a podcast, Swiss Up, dedicated to support Swiss entrepreneurs. Today, Crystal focuses on technology and financial markets law and digital trust.

Within Arie Art Agency, Arielle is directing the artistic vision. She works with artists and is in charge of the art curation of the projects where Arie Art Agency is involved. Crystal sets the strategic vision for Arie Art Agency, develops partnerships and is responsible to grow and support the #ArieArtcommunity.
